Aside from writing my blog, I also present a classic rock show on Brooklands Radio. The show is broadcast live Sunday evenings from 10pm until midnight, with the show being repeated on Wednesdays at 8pm.
Having been introduced to the world of radio broadcasting in the US, by inspiration has come from a mixture of small town radio stations and BBC Radio 4 and World Service. What I think I love most about radio broadcasting – particularly in community radio via the internet – is that broadcasts can be made from one community anywhere in the world and can be picked up in the remotest corners of the world. By doing this, you can communicate and understand what life is like in the community you’re tuned in to, wherever you are in the world.
